ONMOVE 200 GPS digital connected watch blue
Watch consistently shows less distance than actually traveled. I tried it in running long distance and cycling. I compared the distance shown with (1) distance on google maps (2) distance by Btwin count 14. Difference is 3.5 %. It is not random and doesn't cancel out, keeps on adding up gradually right from begining. With 500m difference over 15 Km , practically useless for half marathon.
While stop watch shows seconds, Clock doesn't show seconds.
Buttons are hard compared to X-Cross 400.
Initial satellite signal reception is quite fast.
I love decathlon products and customer service and normally refrain from negative comments. However inaccuracy of the product made me write this as an exception.Brand's answer :
Hello Mr. Dewan, As informed to you, the distance calculated by OnMove 200 GPS has an average variance of -3% versus Google Maps for the tests we have executed here in India. We have compared this with other GPS watch also & the variance is similar. An average variance of 3% - 5% is expected in a GPS watch and so this needs to be taken into account during sports activity.
We will try to decrease this variance in the future developments of GPS watches to provide better accuracy in distance calculation. Regarding your feedback about seconds display & hardness of buttons, we will be passed on to our development team.
Once again thank you for your valuable feedback on OnMove 200 GPS watch.
